Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 902 in Bear, DE!
Who we are...
In Troop 902, our mission is to help young men to fulfill their duty to God and country and to obey the Scout Law.
Our leaders are committed to each scout's success and focus on that goal in every activity we offer. We participate in monthly camp outs and events, designed to help the children grow and learn, all the while become independent in thought and deed.
We offer Advancement and leadership opportunities for those that work hard and want to learn more about the true purpose of scouting: leadership, commitment and giving of yourself to others.
Scouts BSA Troop 902 is part of the
Iron Hill District
of the
Del-Mar-Va Council
of the
Boy Scouts of America
.
We are chartered by
Christ the Cornerstone Church
in Bear, DE. Our Troop meetings are normally held outside by the church's fire pit on Monday evenings at 7pm. We provide an active program for all scouts including overnight and offsite opportunities.
Any boy or girl older than 10 years, and has completed the 5th grade, and is younger than 18 years old is eligible to join Scouts BSA. If you have a younger boy or girl who is interested in Scouting, we would be happy to put you in touch with our
Cub Scout Pack 902.
